FAQs
There are a lot of pieces and parts in OSH, so we know there’s a lot to learn! If the FAQs below don’t answer your question, feel free to contact us.
Files
-
No. All our products are currently digital downloads. There are instructions included that explain what to print, on what color paper, and whether the items should be laminated.
-
Once you purchase any OSH product, you’ll receive an email with a link to download the files. We recommend downloading the files and keeping them on a computer or shared drive that your teachers can easily access (if you purchased the church product). You may also make as many backup copies as you need to make sure you always have access to the files you purchased. See the next section about sharing files.
-
Contact us! We’ve done our best to make sure we’ve organized and packaged all the right files, but it’s possible that we missed something. (There are a lot of files!)

Permissions, Copying, and Sharing
-
This is the official copyright statement that applies to all OSH materials:
Permission is granted to the purchaser (or purchasing organization) to reproduce, duplicate or photocopy student and teacher materials provided in Our Spiritual Heritage Chronology Toolbox and our Bible Class Curriculum teaching materials for your student and/or teachers. All other uses (e.g. reproduction as a whole for giveaway or resale and reproduction of selections in or on any commercial publication or product) require written permission from the publisher.
-
The owners of OSH materials applied and paid for legal copyright on all the materials, so it’s against copyright laws to use OSH materials outside of these guidelines.
OSH products have been created, revised, and improved over decades. That’s a lot of work! Using the materials in the ways we prescribe honors the thousands of hours that many people have put into OSH over the years. It also ensures that the owners of OSH have the ability to keep improving the materials and make sure they’re available for future generations.
-
As many times as you need, using the materials according to the permissions. You can copy the files and save them different places for backup or access purposes, and you can print out the material and make as many copies as you need for the students, parents, and teachers.
-
If you purchased a church or homeschool group product, you can share the material with any of the people in your church or homeschool group, as long as it’s for using in the church or homeschool classes. The permissions don’t extend to the individuals or families within the church for home use. If you also want to use OSH materials at home with your family, please purchase the family products.
In addition, churches shouldn’t share the OSH materials they purchased with other churches, and families shouldn’t share the OSH materials they purchased with other individuals or families. Please contact us if you have any questions about sharing OSH products.
-
There’s no difference in the content. The only difference is the permissions for copying and sharing. The prices are different because you’re paying for the permission to distribute to many more students.
-
Before 2024, we sold OSH as printed materials that were shipped to you. Since 2024, the OSH team has digitized the entire Bible Class Curriculum and Chronology Toolbox, which was a lot of work. Now we sell OSH digitally, exclusively. Because of the mountain of work that was, we don’t automatically provide the digital files to those who have previously bought the physical materials. If you’d like the digital versions, you’ll need to purchase those in our online store.
The huge advantage of having digital files is that the materials are easily reproducible. We believe that has tremendous value.
-
Unfortunately, we’re not able to share the source files. Sharing editable files makes it easier for OSH materials to be changed or passed along unintentionally or used beyond their original intention, which makes it harder for us to protect the curriculum. We want to steward the curriculum well so it can last generations.
